Northallerton has a thriving band of bell ringers, catering for
all levels from inexperienced to expert. We practise at
All Saints on Thursday nights from 7 to 9pm and on Tuesday
nights by arrangement. Sunday service ringing is 9.45 to
10.45am
and 5.15 to 6pm. At any of these times we welcome visitors
interested in seeing what goes on up the tower, lapsed bell ringers
and people who would like to learn. Bell ringing is suitable
for all from about the age of 11.
We also support Sunday service ringing at nearby Ainderby
Steeple and we are involved in the proposed installation of
a ring of 8 bells at Brompton.
