We support...
efforts by Christian groups and others to make the world a better place for all of its citizens. We believe in biblical standards of justice and fairness and so in cooperation with other churches in this area we work to raise both funds to combat poverty and awareness of its causes.
Much of our work is directed towards support for two organisations:
At St James Church Traidcraft goods are available after every Sunday morning service.
At All Saints Church Traidcraft goods are available after the morning service on the 4th Sunday of the month. This is done in cooperation with our friends at Northallerton Methodist Church.
Since 2005 Northallerton has been a ‘Fairtrade Town’
Every May we take part in the annual Christian Aid Week house-to-house collection. At other times individual events are held to raise funds and awareness of the work of Christian Aid - including a regular series of jazz concerts in All Saints. Look out for these on our ’Events’ page.
